Okay, so my plan to post once a day was a dismal failure. Kind of.

See, I figured I'd fall back on it eventually, but at least now I feel like actually posting, and not just memes, though they're fun.

Like this! I did something super smart this weekend!

First, I sold back my textbooks and got a whopping $86.75. Awesome. But I knew exactly what I wanted to do with half of that.

tl;dr: I used half the money to reserve a video game just to make sure I'd be able to pay for it without mooching off my family.

I'm awesome.

Plus, I have about thirty bucks left, which means I'll be able to go to the Repo! shadowcast next Friday without mooching off my family.

Again, I'm awesome.

Plus, hopefully I'll be able to get a job this summer, which means more money. Money that will likely be spent on cosplay and steampunk, but money nontheless.

And I officially am done with my first year of college on Thursday.

FUCK. YEAH.

It's Madonna Night on Glee.

Ugh I'm so excited. Jane Lynch is singing Vogue.

Of course, unless you also watch Glee, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Interesting thing about Glee. I know it's not an accurate portrayal of show choirs and high schools and blah, but the characters really remind me of people I knew back in theatre. And really, the over-the-top way it's executed is fitting being a story about:

A - high school kids (because back then we all thought our problems were the biggest shit ever)
and
B - show choir kids (because in the performing world, everything must be big and over the top in order to convey everything to your audience)

So I know people hate it, but I'll just quietly sit here and love it in the way I loved being in theatre for four years of my life.

I finally completed a vid.

I've been under such a vidder's block lately, you have no idea. But I told myself I'd finish an entry for our anime club's AMV contest this Thursday, so...

I DID.

And I felt so damn wonderful afterwards.

Also, to make up for lack of posting yesterday, I'll make another post today!

I just finished watching The Great Mouse Detective.

It was as awesome as I remember :3. I wish it had done better when it first came out. It's really underrated.
